The only Barbie doll, which had ever caught my interest was the one, which could get "pregnant" (and via c-section, so if you had removed her belly, "she" could give birth)
However (apart from being a crazy Royal watcher) I can´t say, that I had to face any disadvantages through my lack of interest in "Barbie campervans"
In the opposite...many of these huge Barbie fans are now without any finished education but with two children (who don´t know their two different biological daddies...sometimes it´s not bad to deal with pregnant Barbies) (we are talking about personal observations. Don´t ask me to write a thesis on "Barbie-fans and their lifestyle" ;) ) OR
they are celebrated Swedish Designers.
Otherwise I can´t explain, why Lars Wallin is designing, what he is designing. Well, it would be probably even easier to explain, why he is designing, what he is designing, than to explain, why people like it.
Ok, it´s "each to their own" and "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...and some like patchwork families with changing daddies and living on welfare and some not...blabla...usually I am tolerant and I am bad enough with sewing cotton to appreciate the work of real talents in this field...
...but Lars Wallin is the one, who is mostly mentioned, when it comes to the possible designer of Victoria´s (the Crown Princess, I mean...not the Beckham or the Silvstedt) Wedding dress.
And as it seems he is already pondering about accepting this "job"
And he hopefully never will. And if he though would, he would hopefully say "no" in some spirit of "humbleness" and love for Sweden. He would think in blue-yellow terms and of SVT selling the broadcasting rights to international TV channels and would say "nej tack", so that the honourful task would go to some young talented designers or Swedish designers with more international experiences (like Lars Nilsson)– Det vore ett hedervärt uppdrag att designa Victorias brudklänning, men jag har
inte fått någon förfrågan, säger Wallin.-It would be an honourable job to design Victoria´s wedding gown, but I haven´t received any enquiry (yet), says Wallin
If he would say yes, then better prepare for the "princess version" of these dresses
Charlotte Pirelli in her "boob-a-licious" L. Wallin wedding gown
It looks as if the big master had some remnants, that he could "work up" with this dressAnd some more...strapless, spotlight on boobs, girly...blaaaaa

And here some shoes by Lars Wallin

...or prepare for a white version of Victoria´s awful shiny pastell-coloured prom dresses by Lars Wallin

Hui, that was now an arrogant blog entry, full of blasphemy for the big Lord of Swedish fashion. Forgive me...as soon as I am starting to talk about wedding gowns, I am non compos mentis or in other words...a silly Barbie girl ;)
